Sydney Showground is the venue and event management business of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting excellence in agriculture. Sydney Showground is an award winning venue with a team experienced in delivering a wide range of events to an exceptional standard.

Sydney Showground was established in 1998 as a purpose-built home for major events as part of the NSW Government’s multi-million dollar development for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. 

Today it is a world-class venue, delivering close to 150 national and international events each year, including music festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, trade shows and the Sydney Royal Easter Show, the flagship event of the RAS and the nation’s largest annual ticketed event.

All profits from events held on the site are invested back into supporting Australian agriculture and rural communities.

Every client is assigned a dedicated event manager to help design the event from the ground up. They will provide assistance on everything from advice on traffic flow to liaising with relevant government authorities.

Sydney Showground, through its links with the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, has unrivalled access to the best Australian produce available. A wide range of options, from simple tasty working lunches to restaurant quality menus, are made with the finest fresh produce from around the country. Sydney Showground offers a range of specialist technical services with in-house electricians, plumbers, sign-makers, painters and maintenance crew at your disposal. Audio-visual, staging and production can be provided through the venue’s preferred partner, Harry the hirer.

The Sydney Showground is but one of multiple venues used throughout Australia for exhibitions and trade shows. AIMEX and the Australasia Bus and Coach EXPO are two of the annual exhibitions which take place here each year.
