The Salon International de l’Agriculture (SIA), held annually at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, stands as one of the world’s most prominent agricultural exhibitions. The 2025 edition, spanning nine days, welcomed over 607,000 visitors, highlighting its significance in showcasing the diversity and excellence of French and international agriculture.
The 2025 SIA marked its 61st edition with the theme “Agriculture, this French pride,” resonating deeply with attendees. The event featured more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 4,000 animals, including 2,503 in competition. A notable highlight was the introduction of a “country of honor,” with Morocco being the first to receive this distinction—emphasizing the show’s growing international dimension. The exhibition covered 16 hectares across nine pavilions, offering a comprehensive view of the agricultural sector.
The 2025 edition of SIA underscored its role as a leading forum for agricultural dialogue and innovation. The inclusion of international representation and the introduction of a country of honor showcased the growing importance of global cooperation in food production and sustainability. Moreover, the event acted as a mirror of public opinion, with 91% of French citizens affirming agriculture as a source of national pride—highlighting the central role farming continues to play in the country’s cultural and economic life.
The Salon International de l’Agriculture 2025 reaffirmed its position as a key event in the global agricultural calendar. Blending tradition with forward-looking innovation, it provided a vital space for farmers, consumers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to meet, share ideas, and celebrate agriculture in all its forms. The next edition is scheduled for February 21 to March 1, 2026, and promises to continue the legacy of promoting sustainable, inclusive, and proudly French agriculture.
